Director of Engineering at Netlify

I am an experienced manager of distributed teams with a history of leading platform development teams through architectural evolutions and continuous product delivery in fast paced environments. I have been drawn to web development platforms, but am always expanding my reach to other areas. Recently, financial operations and customer success have been two such areas.

At Netlify, my role is Director of Engineering for our Platform group. I am responsible for the happiness, productivity, and growth of 25+ individuals that are distributed around the world. Together, we are responsible for serving hundreds of billions of web requests per month for sites created by millions of users. Nearly 5 million developers, content editors, and collaborators around the world rely on our software to provide them the best modern web deelopment experience.

What I love about Netlify:
  • Netlify has industry leading diversity numbers. The different backgounds and experiences lead to diverse ideas which, combined with strong collaboration, results in great product development.
  • At Netlify, ideas and execution come from anywhere. When I see problems, I'm empowered to propose and execute on solutions. I'm supported by the organization, and so are others.
